It has been 1 year of the Israeli occupation’s genocide in Gaza. +200,000 Palestinians have been killed by the IOF, mostly women and children. Over 2 million Palestinians are still being bombed, starved and displaced everyday.
Palestinians in Gaza have lived for over 56 years under a violent oppressive Israeli military rule and for over 17 years under a suffocating illegal Israeli siege and naval blockade. For over 76 years Palestinians are being oppressed by the apartheid and settler-colonial state of Israel.
Everyday we witness the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist entity and how with full impunity and support from the West this genocidal regime now seeks to escalate violence in the region with the brutal assault on Lebanon, killing thousands of Libanese.
We call on all Leiden University students and staff and everyone in solidarity with the cause for liberation to join us in a die-in at Lipsius to show that we won’t stop until our government and institutions cut all ties with Israel. As long as they have blood on their hands by being complicit in the genocide and occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people, we will continue to take action and resist.
No one is free until we are all free and we will not stop until we see a liberated Palestine from the river to the sea 🇵🇸
